To become a sitter with SaferSit you must love working with kids! If you’re thinking this is a job where you will plop kids down in front of a TV or iPad while you send text and snapchats, SaferSit isn’t for you. We want engaging sitters who want to play and explore while keeping the children safe.

If you’d rather play with animals than a kid, you can certainly apply to be a dog walker or pet sitter! Just let us know in the application you prefer your time to be spent with a four-legged friend!

For either service you must have a .org or .edu email address. You must also be a non-smoker (this includes vaping) and be able to pass a background check.

We understand that as a student, you might be busy! That’s why we don’t require you to work any specific amount of hours. If you have more free time and want to work a lot, great! If you’re swamped with tests and projects, take a breather!
